SYNOPSIS
To help improve the health and well-being of homeless people living in São Paulo (SP), Professor Mário Vicente Guimarães founded the entity Médicos do Mundo, a non-profit organization that provides multidisciplinary assistance to people who live in a vulnerable situation. With the support of Professor Elaine Peixoto, each month, volunteer students from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi (UAM) take to the streets to provide essential services to this often neglected population.
