Universe of Superheroes is the theme of the new animated series under development by Movioca.

The Almost Fabulous Apprentice Hero is already available!

As a kid, you probably wished you were an amazing, unbeatable, super powerful superhero, who only goes to bed when he wants to. The Apprentice Hero series is the realization of this fun dream, the desire to live a great adventure, to wear the red cape and face the evil villain. A children’s animated series made for those who are passionate about superhero stories, who know every detail of this rich universe by heart, and who, even so, wouldn’t choose another universe under no circumstance. But how to surprise the audience when it seems to know all the secrets of the book?

Well, it’s all about being an apprentice. Successful heroes are excellent, we follow their origin story and suddenly they are ready for battle, always evolving and learning important lessons with each confrontation. But being an apprentice is different, especially when we throw in a little time travel in the middle of it and mix it with this heroic universe we love.

Our story is about this passionate fan and how everything changes in his life when he finds out that he will become a great hero in the future. But nothing can be that easy, and that’s just when his greatest enemy, someone he doesn’t even know yet, comes from the future and steals his chance of getting superpowers. What now? Only with their cleverness and comic book knowledge, their friends and family by their side, our little apprentices manage to put everything they know from theory into practice and save themselves and everyone else.

The series mixes the battles and confrontations we expect from superhero stories, with the conflicts of the relationship of two siblings and apprentices, Samir and Luci, creating this tug-of-war between the two, which gets even more shaken when it is Luci who gains superpowers instead of her brother. Finally, all these adventures are followed by all kinds of games, family moments and mischiefs, after all, even the best heroes need to start somewhere.

The series is authored by Luiz Batalha, Matheus Rocha and Mateus Di Mambro, getting in the catalog of works that Movioca is prospecting in the national and international markets.

SYNOPSIS

The series follows the fun adventures of three apprentices, led by Samir, who – after losing the chance to gain superpowers from a meteorite to a vengeful villain from the future – is forced to put all his comic book knowledge into practice, having by his side his best friend and faithful sidekick, Marvin, and, against his will, his older sister, Luci, a super excited girl and the only one with powers in the group. This unlikely team embarks on a difficult mission, battling against evil villains controlled by the terrifying villain Mr. Q, a mysterious figure who came from the future to carry out his plans of revenge against Samir. Inexperienced but full of energy, these kids will have to discover what it really means to be a true hero in order to protect their friends and the city of Diamond Hill from this threat.
