SYNOPSIS
Marco (Francesco Morotti) is a young, lower-class Italian who lives with the Rais and his sister in a small apartment in the historic center of Genoa. The country’s growing economic crisis adds to tensions at home. Feeling suffocated, Marco makes the decision to leave his country. He travels towards Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. To support himself, Marco becomes a teacher of Italian and befriends the trickster Neca (Leandro Rocha), who introduces him to the wonders of the city.
